Cluster headaches may be accompanied by redness and tearing of the eyes, sweating, drooping of eyelids and runny nose.

-Tension headache
Tension headache is often described as “tightening of the head”. Just like cluster headache, the cause of tension headache is still unknown but it is often associated with contraction of the muscles of the face and neck. It can also be triggered by extreme emotions and stress. Associated symptoms of tension headache include tenderness over the muscle areas and sometimes, loss of appetite.

-Stress headache
Stress headache can be brought about by tension and stress. When you are stressed, your body releases catecholamine hormones which lead to constriction of blood vessels. Vasoconstriction may result to decreased blood circulation to the brain leading to stress headache. The term stress headache is often being interchangeably used with tension headache as they may be caused by the same factors.

Prevention and Cure of Headaches
After knowing what are headaches, you must be aware of the different ways to prevent them. The following are effective headache prevention measures:
-Get plenty of rest and avoid stress
-Do physical exercises and eat healthy foods
-Avoid smoking
-Drink alcohol in moderation
